Our Policy

The college is firmly committed to the welfare and safety of its students and upholds the values of respect, dignity, and equality. We follow all regulations and guidelines set forth by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Supreme Court of India on preventing ragging

Any Student indulging in Ragging will be dealt with appropriately in one or more of the following ways:

  1. Fir will be lodged against those involved in ragging
  2. Suspension / expulsion from hostel
  3. Suspension / expulsion from College
  4. Cancelling of admission
  5. Debaring from representation in any events of the college
  6. Debaring from appearing in examination / any evalution process
  7. Withholding of scholarship
  8. Restriction from the college upto two years
  9. Fine of Rs. 25,000/- to Rs. 1,00,000/-

What to Do if You Are a Victim of Ragging?

If you or anyone you know is subjected to ragging, immediately report it to any of the following:

  • Anti-Ragging Helpline: Available 24/7 for quick assistance.
  • Anti-Ragging Committee: The members of the committee are available to hear complaints and take immediate action.
  • Faculty Members or Staff: Our faculty and administrative staff are always ready to listen to students and act accordingly.

All complaints will be treated with the utmost confidentiality, and strict disciplinary action will be taken against anyone found guilty of ragging.

Punishment for Ragging

Any student found guilty of ragging will be subjected to severe disciplinary action, including:

  • Suspension from College: Temporary or permanent suspension depending on the severity of the incident.
  • Cancellation of Admission: In case of serious offenses, the student's admission may be canceled.
  • Legal Action: Legal action may be taken in accordance with the laws of the land, including criminal charges.

The college ensures that strict adherence to these policies guarantees the protection and well-being of all students.
